Registration

All applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Registration deadline is two weeks prior to course date. Limited participation courses may require earlier registration. You will receive a written confirmation of your registration.

To Register by Telephone

You may call us at 412-648-8370 to register using a credit card. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm

Course Credit

These courses are acceptable for continuing education credit and applicable toward Academy of General Dentistry maintenance, fellowship, or mastership requirements on an hour-for-hour basis. All courses meet the criteria for Continuing Education Units (CEU). “Continuing education credits awarded for participation in the CE activity may not apply toward license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirement of his/her state licensing board.”

Verification of attendance will be available at the conclusion of the program to participants who sign in and attend the entire program. Attendance letters will be available at the completion of the program. No partial credit will be granted.

The University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, Continuing Education cannot jeopardize our CERP Accreditation or our relationship with the State Board of Dentistry by not adhering to this personal professional requirement.

Refunds

Single Course

  • All tuition refunds will be assessed a $35 administrative fee.
  • Refunds will not be issued for no shows.

Series of 4

  • Refunds will not be issued for no shows or cancellation by registrant.
  • If registrant notifies the Continuing Education Office prior to the course date, he/she may transfer to an available course in the off-campus lecture series within the same year.

Course Schedule Changes

We reserve the right to change the location, time, course content, or teaching faculty of any course as may be necessary or advisable. Any course which does not receive sufficient enrollment is subject to cancellation. Registrants will be notified of a course cancelled at least two weeks prior to the course date.
