We encourage you to send your problem pictures to us for review. We will try to give you advice, help, and might even fix them for you. Its FREE!

Sure, there is a "but." We reserve the right not to help you if we either get overwhelmed with requests or if it is just not feasible to fix a particular image. And, by submitting a picture you grant us the unrestricted use of your image for educational purposes in any type of media.

Instructions

1. Make sure tha patient cannot be recognized on the picture.
   De-identify the picture: For instance, do not use the patient name as file name.
2. If the patient can be recognized, make sure you have a photo consent form completed and signed by the patient. Scan it and submit it together with your picture.
3. Do not send attachments larger than 20 MB total size.
4. Send the pictures (and consent if applicable) via email to hspallek@dental.pitt.edu with an explanation what needs to be changed and how you took the picture (camera, lens, exposure, flash, shutter speed).
