Department of Dental Anesthesiology: Patient Information

There is no longer any reason to postpone needed dental treatment. A full range of anesthetic services is available at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Conscious-sedation is the name of one of the methods we use to make sure your dental visit is a pleasant one. Many patients have never heard of conscious-sedation, but after having experienced it they would never have dental care without it again. We would be glad to explain all aspects of conscious-sedation to you in person.
