The Department of Pediatric Dentistry contributes extensively to the academic, service, and research missions of the School of Dental Medicine by providing specialty-specific, competency-based didactic and clinical First Professional and Advanced Pediatric Dentistry Residency Programs; service to the community via in-house clinical activities and extensive community outreach projects; and scholarly activities through participation in scientific organizations, publications, and dissemination of knowledge through continuing education courses and invited lectures.
