The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine offers a four-year First Professional Program leading to the D.M.D., an International and Advanced Standing Program for graduates of foreign dental schools, and post-graduate residency programs in ten areas. The School of Dental Medicine also offers the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene Program, the only dental hygiene program in Pennsylvania that is affiliated with a major University and University Medical Center.
