Student Organizations
The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine has a wide variety of resources that provide the infrastructure to assist each student with their academic and personal requirements. The Director and Associate Directors of Student Services and Financial Aid oversee personal, academic and career counseling for all students. In addition, the School of Dental Medicine as a component of the University of Pittsburgh has access to resources which include an extensive library system, learning skills center, housing resource center, health care and student services, and recreational and fitness facilities. The School of Dental Medicine has eight student organizations, that provide a myriad of opportunities for extracurricular activity during the four years of the dental program. In addition to social activities, these organizations provide forums for interaction among students with common interests and professional goals.
