Academic programs in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery offer both predoctoral and advanced education residency opportunities. Predoctoral DMD students may take advantage of the internship and externship programs while advanced specialty training is offered in the OMS Surgical Residency Program. A fellowship is available for those interested in advanced training in pediatric craniofacial/oral and maxillofacial surgery in conjunction with UPMC.
