Ms. Kieffer serves as a full-time instructor in the Pitt Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program. She is the course director of Ethics and Local Anesthesia for the Dental Hygienist. She also serves as an instructor in Radiology lab, 1st year clinic, and 2nd year clinic. Candice is also a member of the Dental Hygiene Promotions Committee.
Candice graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene in 2009. In 2017, she earned a Master of Science in dental hygiene from the University of California, San Francisco with a concentration in education and research. She has more than ten years of experience working in private practice and community clinics. Candice also has experience working with special needs clientele and mobile clinics. From 2016-2020, she served as a clinical instructor for the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Program.
Candice's research interests include CAMBRA and local anesthesia. She is a member of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), the California Dental Hygiene Association (CDHA), and the San Francisco Dental Hygiene Society.
