Dr. Jannetto is a clinical professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is assigned to pre-clinical removable prosthodontics.
During his 36-year career in the VA Health Care System in various cities, Dr. Jannetto has held academic appointments in prosthodontics as six dental schools. From 1984 to 1997, he served as Chief of Dental Service at the VA Medical Center. There, he coordinated affiliated residency and educational programs jointly with the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Programs included oral maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, general practice, dental hygiene and dental student electives.
Dr. Jannetto taught pre-clinical removable prosthodontics since 1992, clinical removable partial dentures since 1997, and removable partial dentures (Seminar Case Based Approach) beginning 2007. Presently, he is involved with pre-clinical removable prosthodontics. He is a Life Diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
