Jacey Mitchell serves as an Instructor in the Dental Hygiene Program and as the Second Year Dental Hygiene Clinical Coordinator. She is the Course Director for Dental Hygiene Seminars III and IV, and Health Promotions Through the Lifespan course.
Jacey graduated in 2012 from Northampton Community College with her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She continued her education at the University of Bridgeport, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2014 and Master of Science in Dental Hygiene with a concentration in education in 2016. Jacey has previously worked in private practice, and as the clinical coordinator and adjunct faculty at Northampton Community College. Jacey joined the Dental Hygiene Department at the University of Pittsburgh in 2017.
Jacey is also an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA), Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association (PDHA), and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
