BA, MA, PhD
Dr. Jasmien Roosenboom joined the Center for Craniofacial and Dental Genetics as a postdoctoral researcher in October 2016. She obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Catholic University Leuven, Belgium. She started a PhD under supervision of Prof. Greet Hens and Dr. Peter Claes at the same university, investigating facial morphology associated with orofacial clefting.
At the Center of Craniofacial and Dental Genetics, she wants to pursue the avenue of investigating facial morphology associated with orofacial clefting. Furthermore, she is interested in other subclinical phenotypes of orofacial clefting, as well as in the genetic background of normal-range facial variation.
