Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) or foreign equivalent and the possession of a full and unrestricted dental license to practice dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania.

Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and gums, and related oral structures: Examine patient to determine nature of condition, utilizing X-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures. Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth, using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical implements. Provide preventive dental services to patient, such as applications of fluoride and sealants to teeth, and education in oral and dental hygiene. May train dental students, residents, or other dental health professionals. Employment at multiple sites required.
