Broad Top Area Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused General Dentist to join our growing dental practice. We are looking for a dentist who values high-quality clinical care, enjoys building lasting relationships with patients, and wants to become part of a supportive, team-oriented practice.
Professional liability coverage under the Federal Tort Claims Act (“FTCA”) covering acts or omissions of the Provider in the performance of Provider professional duties. If FTCA coverage is not available or is affected by any action or inaction of BTAMC, then BTAMC shall provide comparable coverage including tail coverage and bear all financial responsibility therefor.
Paid time off to include in one balance of five (5) weeks (CME, Vacation, and Personal) per calendar year will be based on the providers FTE and prorated per the actual FTE.
Nine paid Holidays to include: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. If any holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the provider will have the immediately preceding Friday or following Monday as the paid holiday. Call is a necessary part of the provider service and if on call the provider will have an alternate holiday.
A 403b Plan with employer contribution in the following amount: 3% matching. The terms of the 403b Plan are governed by the plan document which may be modified from time to time at BTAMC’s option.
Provider is eligible for up to $3,000 (three thousand dollar) per calendar year for Continuing Medical Education (“CME”), which may be prorated for any partial year of employment. All requests for reimbursement shall be submitted in writing to the Human Resources Director along with appropriate receipts.
g. Medical and dental insurance premium contributions with Provider sharing in the cost of the premium in accordance with the terms of the benefit plans in effect and which may be modified from time to time by BTAMC.
h. Individual life insurance, $100,000.00; Accidental Death, $ 100,000.00 on terms as set forth in the applicable plan documents which may be modified by BTAMC from time to time.
i. Provider’s dental staff dues as follows: Pennsylvania License, DEA registration, and one major organization designated by the Provider. Other dues may be paid with CME money if receipt is provided.
j. Bereavement time and sick time as is referenced in the personnel manual. This is up to 5 sick days in a calendar year; Bereavement is up to 3 days per occurrence, depending on relation to the employee.
Must have active credentials and license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
