Suzanne Weber is a full-time faculty member in the Pitt Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program. Suzanne received a certificate in Dental Hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 and went on to earn her Bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene in 2011. Upon graduation she was employed as a dental hygienist in private general dental practices in Pittsburgh and the surrounding area. From 2020-2024, she was employed as a dental hygienist in the Dental Department of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh; during that time, she obtained a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) license (2021). Ms. Weber returned to the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2025 as an instructor in the Dental Hygiene Program and a member of the Dental Hygiene Admissions Committee. She currently provides instruction to both first and second-year students in Dental Hygiene Preclinic, Dental Hygiene Clinics 1, 2, 3, 4, and Advanced Clinic as well as Introduction to Dentistry lab, Dental Hygiene Radiology lab, and Anesthesia for the Dental Hygienist lab. She is the current course director for Health Promotions Through the Life Span and the upcoming course director for Clinical Dentistry for Patients with Special Health Care Needs. Suzanne maintains her clinical skills by providing dental hygiene care for pediatric patients in the University Dental Health Services Practice.
She holds membership in the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
