Professional Opportunity: ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Allegany Dental Care (ADC) strives to provide a comprehensive state-of-the-art dental experience capable of meeting the needs of patients of all ages, and to do so with competence, compassion and integrity. ADC has served the greater Hagerstown community for more than 40 years.
The Associate Dentist I is an entry level, no residency required, dental position with a minimum guaranteed salary 175K. ADC is looking for a dependable, proactive associate who is motivated to provide individualized dental care to patients in a team-oriented, community-based practice. This person will have the opportunity to develop their own practice style while also receiving mentorship support in clinical and practice management. Partnership opportunities are available after a twelve-to eighteen-month assessment of candidate fit within the practice.The Associate Dentist I is a minimum 36 hour/week position, with no evenings and weekends. Initially, ninety-five percent of the role is providing the best patient care possible to existing and new patients. Associate Dentist I will assume a leadership role in developing, presenting, and executing comprehensive treatment, including restorative, endo, crown and bridge, extractions, and prosthodontics. The remaining five percent of Associate Dentist I time is dedicated to learning and engaging with aspects of maintaining a private practice. This may be through working with the finance manager and insurance specialists, attending doctor meetings, participating in job interviews, attending short-and-long term planning meetings, and more. As time passes in the role, these percentages can shift based upon the interest and career goals of the Associate Dentist I.

The Associate Dentist will work in collaboration with five doctor practice partners in a variety of career stages and will receive support from experienced front office staff, dental assistants. and dental hygienists. ADC has three locations and employs approximately 50 staff.
