Opportunities to Advance

RHS-certified dental assistants can continue to pursue advanced career tracks, such as a Certified Dental Assistant, National Entry-Level Dental Assistant, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, practice management, dental hygiene, or various levels of more advanced dental medicine practice.

Trainees in the program will be prepared to take the required exam administered by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). This will qualify trainees to apply for DANB’s Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification.
