Emergency dentistry is a growing concept nationwide. Emergency Dental of America emphasizes seven-day-a-week emergency dentistry but also strives to maintain patients for general dentistry needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works as a part of the Emergency Dental care team
• Assures integration of patient education into all treatment phases
• Advises and instructs patients regarding preventative dental care and the causes and treatments of dental problems
• Provides diagnostic and therapeutic dental services to patients
• Reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information
• Documents care accurately and timely manner
• Responds to patient concerns and addresses them
• Maintains patient confidentiality and upholds Patients' Rights
• Adheres to all federal and government regulations, including the state dental board rules and regulations
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary:
• 35 percent of net production OR guaranteed minimum
• Part-time: up to 150K a year

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited school of Dentistry
Experience:
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a dentist preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Licensed in the state of hire
• DEA license
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification
Knowledge and Skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Practices comprehensive dentistry
• Basic computer skills
