Dr. Marnie Oakley has been a committed and loyal supporter of Pitt Dental Medicine for years. She was a Pitt undergrad and earned her DMD at Pitt Dental Medicine in 1992. She has guided some of the most critical projects in the enterprise and has gained an international reputation in dental education as a regular speaker, consultant to other schools, and mentor with ADEA’s leadership programs. She has served as the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs for 8 years and now has accepted the position of Senior Associate Dean, overseeing activities in Clinical Affairs and Faculty Affairs with the help of a new Assistant Dean for Faculty Development. We look forward to Dr. Oakley’s successes for the school as well as the positive impact she will continue to have in this new role.
