Rising high school seniors from across the country who are interested in careers in health care attended Pitt Dental Medicine's one-day introduction to dentistry event. The goal of the event was to introduce dentistry to the students who are participating in the University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy (HCSA) this summer. HCSA offers students an opportunity to investigate health science careers in depth at Pitt.

Hosted and presented by Dr. Wankiiri-Hale, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, members of the Office of Student Affairs and several current dental student ambassadors helped the HCSA students learn about dentistry through a number of hands on activities.
