The CDC updated its community level for Allegheny and Westmoreland counties to High on Thursday. In high, the CDC recommends wearing a mask indoors in public. Pitt requirements for face coverings will at a minimum be consistent with CDC guidance, so now Pitt has made masks required indoors on the Pittsburgh and Greensburg campuses at this time.
Masks remain optional on the Johnstown, Titusville and Bradford campuses.
