Pitt's IntiniLab Works Toward Solving Cancer

Congratulations to Dr. Giuseppe Intini for receiving funding for a new research project entitled, “Generating a ‘Google Map’ of Human Osteosarcoma” awarded by the Board of Pittsburgh Cure Sarcoma

Dr. Giuseppe Intini, Pitt Dental Medicine associate professor in the Department of Periodontics and Preventive Dentistry and the Center for Craniofacial Regeneration (CCR), was awarded $25,000 to support his new research project. These funds—awarded by the Board of Pittsburgh Cure Sarcoma (PCS)—will support his lab’s efforts in researching the spatial gene expression profile of the osteosarcoma and osteosarcoma metastases in a mouse model.
