Christine Wankiiri Hale DMD

Dr. Christine Wankiiri-Hale serves as Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the School of Dental Medicine. She earned her DMD in 2002 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and in 2003 completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the School. She joined the faculty full-time in 2004 and participates in the University’s faculty practice. She has held  numerous leadership roles in the School including vice-chair of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Comprehensive Care and chair of the Pre-doctoral Admissions committee. Dr. Wankiiri-Hale is a graduate of the American Dental Education Association’s (ADEA) Leadership Institute as well as the American Dental Association’s (ADA) Institute for Diversity in Leadership and has represented the school in her service as an officer and liaison for multiple ADEA committees. Dr. Wankiiri-Hale is a member of several professional organizations.
