Elizabeth Ban is a 2012 graduate of the Pitt Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene with a concentration in research in 2014. Ms. Ban joined the faculty at Pitt Dental Medicine in the Dental Hygiene Program as a part time clinical instructor in 2015, and was appointed to a full time faculty position in 2019. Her current academic position is Senior Clinical Supervisor and course director of Seminar III, IV, and Advanced Clinical Dental Hygiene Practice.
Elizabeth serves as the Chair of the Dental Hygiene Program Admissions Committee, the 2nd year Clinical Evaluation Committee, and is a member of the 1st year Clinical Evaluation Committee.
Ms. Ban is a member of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA), and has experience in private practice as a dental assistant, surgical assistant, and dental hygienist.
