Revathi Shekar BDS, MDS

Revathi Shekar, BDS, MDS is a board-certified oral medicine specialist affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She provides care to patients who have complex oral diseases with an emphasis on patient education, motivation, and person-centered care.

Her areas of interest include the diagnosis and management of oral mucosal abnormalities (growths, ulcers, infection, and Immune-mediated disorders), oral complications from cancer treatment (mucositis, graft-versus-host disease, jaw osteonecrosis), TMD & orofacial pain, salivary gland disorders, and neurologic & chemosensory impairment.
