Dr. Davies grew up in Murrysville, PA and attended Franklin Regional Highschool. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both undergraduate studies and her dental education. She went on to complete her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency and Medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. After completion of residency, she practiced for several years in the bay area of California, before returning as a full-time faculty at in the Pitt Dept of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 2008-2012. In 2012 she transitioned to a private practice position, but remains involved with the Univ of Pittsburgh Dental School as a part-time clinical faculty member. Dr. Davies supervises pre-doctoral students in the oral surgery clinic on a biweekly basis and participates in oral surgery call at the UPMC hospitals with the OMFS residents.
