After serving twice as interim dean over a course of nearly two years, Dr. Marnie Oakley describes officially assuming the role of dean of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine as both “surreal” and a “true professional honor.”

The Pitt Dental Medicine faculty and staff recently enjoyed a retreat to find out more about working together and communication skills such as collaborative communication, communicating across generations and culture, and improving customer service skills. The event featured group sessions that were both fun and informative.
